With years of experience in the hospitality industry, my wife and I have been actively involved in serving guests. We established with a focus on creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere where diners can savor our delectable cuisine, expertly served by our knowledgeable staff. Building on our success, by opening Aroma India Silverstream in January 2018
Our team of chefs is carefully selected from renowned restaurants in India that cater to diverse cultures. They come from various regions of India, each bringing their own specialties, which are reflected in our menu. We take pride in preparing innovative, freshly cooked meals made to order, which may require a short wait. In order to ensure the utmost freshness, we prepare our own spice blends in-house rather than relying on pre-packaged mixes. Additionally, we make our own paneer on-site, which you can identify by the delightful "squeaks" it makes when consumed. All of these factors contribute to the distinct "Aroma India flavor."
To cater to different tastes, our menu offers a wide variety of options. Whether you prefer our flavorful and mildly spiced butter chicken or our chili-based dishes like lamb vindaloo, which can be quite spicy, we have something to satisfy every palate. We also provide Indo-Chinese meals and a selection specifically designed for vegetarians and vegans, including dishes like Saag Paneer and Vegetable Biriyani. One of the best Indian restaurants in the Wellington region. My husband and I go there several times a month for lunch or dinner as the menu is extensive, authentic, and the staff is exceedingly friendly and attentive. Dishes can be made to-order and Aroma has one of the best combination of spices, sauces, and fresh ingredients. An added bonus, we have taken our young Grandchildren there on occasion and they too are made to feel equally welcome. I highly recommend Aroma for anyone wanting a great Indian meal!
